SCOTT DH Factory Keeps Building Momentum in Lenzerheide!
Four Riders in Finals at Round Four of the UCI MTB World Series
Lenzerheide, Switzerland, June 20th. Round four of the 2026 UCI MTB World Series brought the SCOTT DH Factory to Switzerland for another highly encouraging weekend. After the rain and mud of Leogang just one week earlier, riders had to deal with completely different conditions, with intense heat making the demanding Lenzerheide track even tougher. Once again, the team demonstrated its depth and speed, with four riders reaching Saturday’s finals and several of the younger athletes narrowly missing out.
Strong Qualifying Sessions for the Team
Friday’s qualifying sessions delivered excellent results for SCOTT DH Factory. Ethan Craik (GBR) secured an impressive fourth place in Q1, closely followed by Dakotah Norton (USA) in fifth. After struggling with illness, Benoît Coulanges (FRA) was able to secure a seat in the final although he had to go through the stress of Q2! Jess Blewitt (NZL), returning from the injury sustained in Loudenvielle, also had to go through Q2. The New Zealander delivered a remarkable performance, winning the session with a time that would have placed her on the podium in Q1. With four riders through to finals, confidence was high heading into Saturday.
Jess Blewitt Back Among the Front Runners
Jess Blewitt opened the finals with a composed and controlled run. Racing with confidence after her recent return from injury, she secured an excellent seventh place and scored her first World Cup points of the season. Her performance marked another important step in her comeback and confirmed that she is quickly returning to her best level.
Solid Top Five for Ethan Craik
As one of the final riders down the mountain, Ethan Craik knew he had the speed to fight for victory. Pushing hard from the start, the British rider made a few mistakes in the upper section of the track before recovering strongly with two outstanding lower sectors. His effort earned him fifth place, narrowly missing out on what would have been a deserved podium finish. Once again, Ethan demonstrated that he possesses the pace to challenge for victories, and another podium opportunity surely isn’t far away.
Mechanical Setback for Benoît Coulanges
After a strong morning practice session, “BC” started his final run full of confidence. Carrying an impresive four-second advantage before the lasts sections of the course, he looked set for another outstanding result. Unfortunately, a mechanical issue forced him off line and prevented him from converting his speed into the result he deserved. Despite the setback, he still collected valuable points and remains among the leading riders in the overall standings.
Dakotah Norton Opens His Points Account
Following his excellent fifth place in qualification, Dakotah Norton entered finals with high expectations. Although he was unable to find the same rhythm during his race run, the American rider still secured important points for both himself and the team, continuing to build momentum as the season progresses.
SCOTT DH Factory Continues to Move Forward
Another strong weekend confirmed the progress made by SCOTT DH Factory since the beginning of the season. The riders are consistently showing front-running speed, the bikes are performing perfectly, and the entire team continues to build confidence race after race. After four rounds of the UCI MTB World Series, Benoît Coulanges now sits sixth overall in the World Cup standings, while Ethan Craik has climbed into the overall top ten in tenth position. SCOTT DH Factory also remains firmly inside the top ten of the team rankings, currently holding eighth place. With four riders in the finals and strong performances throughout the squad, the signs are extremely positive and the best is still to come.
